CAPLA: Center for Information and Collaboration
These boards detail a series of isometric cross-sections and plans, elevations, programming, some site analysis, building skin details, and experiential views. The concept behind this design was to create a massive truss system across the roof plane and to hang all spaces from it. This gave the interior of the building the ability to hold large open voids and further promote communication between levels as well as let natural light in to all spaces and floors. Skybridges were used at multiple levels to align existing open exterior spaces of adjacent buildings, creating direct physical connections between structures of different disciplines.
