SICSA: Principium Novum Finalis Fines: A New Beginning for the Final Frontier

Precedent work for Project Novum.  These two sets of slides show the conceptualization and design development of my Master's Thesis. This concept is a direct evolution of Ancile-Hab and pushes the capsule’s detail and efficiency. The focus was to develop an expanding system that could be blanketed over any surface. Trade studies found balance between hatch numbers, expansion options, and internal layouts. Launch, landing, transport, deployment, connection, safety, and ascent were all considerations. The resulting design is a turn-key/plug-and-play module ready for any mission at any location.
